About Us and the Resident Therapist

ABOUT OUR SERVICES & MENTAL HEALTH

Grace Community Counseling & Social Services, LLC employs a simple premise: Make available to every woman, person and family the behavioral health/soul care resources needed to live a healthy, active, and fulfilling life. At the same time, educate about the importance of mental health and self care that creates healthier lifestyles and families. This same idea still drives the perspective today, some 20 years after tragedy and triumph. The track record we've accumulated over the years speaks to our commitment to holistic care and mindfulness of women, their families, and community at large. Our care providers and constituents are aware of the 1-client principle and the wounded healer philosophy. Just as important, both our facilitators and staff are second to none understanding it is important for you to "save something for yourself."  We think you'll notice the difference immediately when you step foot inside our groups, individual, couple and family counseling sessions. We'd love to hear from you today to map out a mental health and wellness plan that's tailored for your behavioral history and needs.

WE engage multiple modalities to suit your therapeutic needs; this is not an exhaustive list:

Visionary leader

Tracy Gantlin-Monroy, MA, MDiv, LPC, affectionately known as TG, is a licensed professional counselor, podcast host “Beyond the Spot: Decolonizing Healing One Brain at a Time,” and the first Black woman in the world certified as a Brainspotting Trainer. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she serves as the Resident Therapist and founder of Grace Community Counseling & Social Services, where she leads a thriving private practice, consulting firm, and community-based healing movement.

A fierce advocate for justice and inclusion, Tracy blends neuroscience, spirituality, and liberation psychology to create radically healing spaces for individuals and systems. She is the creator of the UnBound Black & BIPOC Women Healing Brand/Retreats, and the midwife to Brainspotting BIPOC Nation, a global counter space for healing and professional development within the Brainspotting community.

Tracy developed the internationally recognized training Brainspotting: Intersectionality & Social Justice and Marginalized Communities: Serving the Culturally Diverse, both of which center decolonized, embodied, and culturally anchored care. Her presentations have been featured at the International Brainspotting Conference (2021) and numerous clinical and corporate inclusionary events to include presentation for Oakton Community College (2024) Newport Healthcare (2024).

A graduate of Richmont Graduate University (MA in Professional Counseling) and Interdenominational Theological Center (MDiv), both with honors, Tracy is currently pursuing a PhD in Mental Health with a Brainspotting concentration at IUGS.

With advanced training in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE), her clinical interests focus on complex trauma, racialized trauma, ancestral healing, spiritual attunement, and therapist identity development.

Tracy leads with the belief that healing must move at the speed of safety—grounded in dignity, mutuality, respect, and collective care. Whether in therapy, consultation, or on the mic as host of Beyond the Spot: Decolonizing Healing One Brain at a Time, Tracy is a truth-teller, a movement-builder, and a midwife for transformation.
